In 1807, Josef Vitus Becher created the Becherovka Original recipe based on more than 20 herbs and spices from all around the world. Till today, the recipe remains unchanged and only two people have access to it. Every Wednesday of the week, the secret keepers lock themselves in a room where they proceed to mixing the herbs and spices, before handing it over to production. This is what makes Becherovka so unique - not only does it have great taste, but also a long and well-kept tradition! |
