The 2007 Alpha Cabernet Sauvignon raises the bar considerably. A glass-coating opaque purple, it has an excellent bouquet of toasty oak, tobacco, espresso, and blackcurrant. With good richness, excellent depth, and a firm structure, it will evolve for several years and drink well through 2019.

Wine Enthusiast 90 points - A Cabernet Sauvignon with 10% Merlot from Marchigue on the Colchagua Coast, this wine spent 12 months in the barrel. The nose presents several layers in which black currant, cherry, sweet spices and mint stand out in harmony with the wood. A complex wine with firm tannins and a fine grain. The lengthy finish is pleasantly compact. An accomplished combination that led to the production of 1.1 million bottles.
