Jameson 18 Year Old is the Master Blender’s supreme example of the Jameson tradition of maturing whiskey in Spanish oloroso sherry casks. The Master Blender has hand-picked three Irish whiskeys which have been matured in seasoned olorosso sherry casks for at least 18 years. Then Jameson 18 Year Old is transferred to American bourbon barrels for a further six months, to put the final finishing touches to this unique and complex whiskey.

John Jameson founded his distillery in Dublin in 1780 to realise his ambition of making the highest quality whiskey possible. Today Jameson is still made in our Single Distillery in Midleton, Co Cork, Ireland following our founder’s tradition of using the finest ingredients and triple distillation to achieve our signature smoothness. |
Whiskey Advocate 92 points - Unmistakably Jameson on the nose, this is a belter of a whiskey: honey, apple, toasted coconut, creamy vanilla, and sublime pot still spiciness. This offers sweet toffee and caramel, bursting with spices, just a hint of sherry, Brazil nut, vanilla, creamy oak, and a caressing mouthfeel. A triumph that exemplifies the glories of pot still blending, and its sherry influence makes for a rich ending.

Ultimate Beverage Challenge 96 points - Aromatic and enticing whisky with hints of dark chocolate, toffee, almond skin, grapefruit pith, and maple hard candy. The palate is mellow, with rich hints of nuts and treacle, balanced by peach, red plum, and brandied cherries. Smooth and long.
